narion is the sound design and music project from neil noakes, exploring his particular cut of electronica in the undergrowth of English suburban sprawl.

universal memory and harmonic drift were the first outings, a sound shaped by post-rave residue, dubbed out ambience and electronica.  as narion’s sound continues to evolve, the influence of world, classical alongside experimental electronica finds its way into the sonic explorations.

narion’s work is often conceived as soundscapes to disappear into, electronic and acoustic worlds crossing over each other. Created through layers and collage, using original poetry, found sound and field recordings.
